Barkley Haven is located on the working water front with a fuel dock, fish plant and kayak tour operator nearby. Enjoy the hustle and bustle of fishing boats, sail boats, whale watchers and kayakers. We boast an amazing view of the harbour and Mount Ozzard.
While you are here you'll likely see sea lions, deer, eagles and shorebirds. We are within walking distance of the town centre, beaches, the lighthouse at Amphitrite Point and the Wild Pacific Trail. A short 10 minute drive will put you in the Pacific Rim National Park Reserve, a 15 minute drive, on the world famous Long Beach.
In 2009, we had 2 visits by orca whales in the Ucluelet harbour.
